ABOUT BOXING
To fight successfully a boxer must employ the right boxing techniques for himself. You must follow your plan. For a start you should study your opponent and look for his weak points. And attack them relentlessly so you can get the better of him. Your training and boxing skills will play a big part in your success. You need to develop a full armoury of punches for yourself before you first get in the ring. The more punches you can throw effectively the harder it is for any opponent to defeat you.Anither punch is, right cross it is a power punch but because of the weight transfer it can also leave you exposed without a boxer's stance for a split second. This is why it is important to return back to guard as quick as possible. There are three main types of styles that boxers fall into when boxing. These reflect how they move and how they punch. The first style is the Brawler.A lot of brawlers are able to throw a punch which can knock out an opponent in a single blow. The next type of style is that of the Inside Fighter. This type of style is usually played very aggressively. The final type of style is that of the Outside Fighter. Boxers who use this style type will generally stay toward the outside of the ring and work on keeping their opponents away from them.

RUGBY
The Queen’s rugby club sent two teams to Argentina for games in Buenos Aires and the resort town of Mar Tel Plata. The second team lost two hard-fought games, but the first squad rallied in Mar Tel Plata after being down 12-5 to score three tries in the final 15 minutes of the game to win 27-19.
Ryan Kruyne, Colin Alexander, Graham Watt, Tim Richardson and Zach Pancer scored tries for Queen’s, with Kruyne also kicking two conversions.
The win was the team’s first over a men’s team on tour since their trip to Ireland in 1999.
Tour co-ordinator and fifth-year player Colin Frenke said the trip gave the players a chance to work on team chemistry.
“Because we had two teams it worked out really well, the younger guys get to know the older guys. … There was a lot of cohesion,” he said. “It was nice to get that final win.”
The team’s season finished in November, which meant they had to rent a horse-training area north of Kingston to stay in game shape.
“I think without the training the final game wouldn’t have gone as well,” Frenke said.
The team’s trip began on Feb. 16 in Buenos Aires, where the second team fell 41-5 to the host team and the first team suffered a 24-10 defeat.
Head coach Peter Huigenbos said the second team had an admirable first half, but “forgot how to tackle in the second half.”
Feb. 21 in Marta Del Plata the second squad had tries from Graeme Dibden, Dan Taggart, Dan Salvatore and Mike Readshaw, but couldn’t quite seal the deal in a 24-22 loss.
Huigenbos said the team had played in Mar Tel Plata and lost on their last tour in 2001, so the first team’s win was meaningful and his team was ready for the Argentinian style of rugby.

ABOUT NETBALL
Netball is the most popular female sport in the UK, with over 61,000 affiliated members and at least one million women and girls playing netball every week. Netball is a fast, skilful team sport based on running, jumping, throwing, catching and shooting.
Netball is an organised sport played in numerous countries as a game of precision, timing and balance, agility and ball skill. Trust, communication, and teamwork play an important role in the game and can be used to encourage the development of physical and social skills. The playing positions are; GS, GA, WA, C, WD, GD, and GK.
Netball caters for all ages and abilities and can range from the social game to the highly competitive leagues. Staffordshire has many netball opportunities for both juniors and adults. Many primary schools are involved with the adapted game for 9 -11 years, High Five Netball. The county hosts a High Five Netball festival for the top two winners from each School Sport Partnership. The county also hosts national school tournaments for secondary school girls and there is a successful junior county league and many adult leagues within Staffordshire.
